Learn to understand, design and develop devices and systems that operate on or generate electricity
Electrical engineers use the physics and mathematics of electricity, electromagnetism and electronics to create, develop and test electrical equipment and systems.
At Ole Miss, you can undertake the general track for your electrical engineering degree, giving you the flexibility to shape your technical focus. Or you can pursue a manufacturing emphasis, incorporating classes at the university’s Center for Manufacturing Excellence.
With an electrical engineering degree, you will be set for a career in areas as diverse as the automotive, chemical and petroleum industries; power utilities; defense and aeronautics; and telecommunications and computers.
Being a part of a community of driven scholars who all want to help each other reach their goals has really shown me how awesome learning can be.
